Welcome to the Research pages @Hear Th↓s Space. This section is for those interested in the study of site sensitive/spatial sound. Although there is much written on the subject of electroacoustic music and sound art there is comparatively little written about its performance practices. In addition there are pockets of people making such terms irrelevant as they blur the lines between music, performance art and installation art. So it is hope that this section will allow exchanges of information and pool these experiences to enrich the field. 

The main focus of discussion will be sound in space and site sensitive events the core interests of Hear Th↓s Space. However, this will also include discussions about listening, perception, the philosophy of sound, technology, acoustics, psychoacoustics, performance practice and aesthetics. This is not an exhaustive list and I hope that you will find new and yet uncharted areas to explore so please feel free to give feedback

There is a members only Forum that is broken down into subject based and free discussion. If you wish to join just fill out this form giving your name and interest in the area. The forum is accompanied by a blog that will consolidate discussions and highlight any ideas, events and developments.
